Rage is a high-energy, synth-forward trap production style characterized by bright, detuned supersaw leads, pounding 808s, and fast, looping drum patterns built for explosive rap performances. It emphasizes instant-impact hooks, minimal chord movement, and anthemic drops that feel closer to festival EDM crescendos than traditional hip hop breakdowns. The sound rose from the post–SoundCloud, punk-influenced branch of trap, drawing on the icy simplicity of Playboi Carti’s late-2010s palette and marrying it with trance/eurodance-styled leads and EDM trap dynamics. The result is a glossy, adrenalized bed for shouted, rebellious vocals—music designed for mosh pits, arena stages, and viral snippets alike.

LA pop is a contemporary pop micro-scene centered on Los Angeles, defined by glossy, radio-ready production, hook-heavy toplining, and a tight ecosystem of songwriters, producers, and artist-development teams. It blends mainstream pop with electropop sheen, R&B smoothness, and a light touch of hip‑hop rhythms, all optimized for streaming, radio, and sync. The style emphasizes ultra-melodic choruses, crisp midtempo grooves, bright synths or guitar loops, and highly crafted vocal production (doubles, harmonies, tuned ad‑libs). Lyrically, it favors confessional storytelling about relationships, self‑image, and the LA dream—intimate in tone but cinematic in scale.

High vibe is a contemporary, wellness-oriented microgenre that blends uplifting pop songwriting with gentle electronic textures and spiritually tinged lyrics. It emphasizes positivity, gratitude, self-empowerment, and connection to nature, often employing soothing vocal timbres, airy pads, acoustic guitars or piano, and light, mid-tempo grooves. The production is spacious and warm, favoring reverb-washed atmospheres, soft percussion, and subtle world-influenced instrumentation to create a sense of calm elevation. While rooted in pop accessibility, high vibe draws on new age and devotional traditions, bringing mantra-like hooks and affirmational refrains into modern indie and electronic frameworks.

Lilith is a mood-driven, internet-native microgenre that blends dark, feminine alternative pop with elements of trip hop, dream pop, witch house, and ethereal wave. It favors breathy or intimate vocals drenched in reverb, slow to mid-tempo grooves, spectral pads, and cinematic, minor-key harmonies that evoke occult, gothic, or mythic imagery. The overall sound is bass-forward yet gauzy: sub-heavy 808s or dusty breakbeats sit under shimmering guitars, distant choirs, and textural synths. Lyrically, Lilith leans into vulnerability, power, hauntings, and desire—frequently framed through confessional writing and ritual or nocturnal symbolism. It’s less a scene tied to a single city than a streaming-era aesthetic, cohering through playlists and social media communities.

Vapor twitch is a glossy, internet-born strain of indie electronic that fuses the dreamy nostalgia of vaporwave and chillwave with the punchy, "twitchy" rhythms of trap-leaning future bass. Expect airy pads, pastel synth palettes, chopped-and-pitched vocal bits, and sidechained chords that "breathe" against half-time 808 drums. Where vaporwave leans into looped détournement, vapor twitch favors original songwriting and drop-centric arrangements, keeping the vapor-era wistfulness but aiming for a more kinetic, festival-ready glow.
