Justefunk Funk

AI (artificial intelligence) as a music genre refers to works in which machine-learning systems are central to generating, arranging, or performing core musical material, rather than being used only as peripheral studio tools. The style spans fully generative ambient soundscapes and pop songs written from text prompts, to voice-cloned performances and neural resynthesis of timbres. Stylistically it borrows from contemporary electronic and internet-born aesthetics (hyperpop, vaporwave, IDM, electropop), while foregrounding the uncanny, synthetic qualities of ML models. Beyond sonics, AI music is also a process-driven genre: datasets, prompts, model architectures, and iterative sampling are treated as creative choices on par with chords or instrumentation. Ethical and legal questions around training data, consent, and authorship are part of its identity and discourse.

Deep funk ostentação is a moody, late‑night variant of São Paulo’s funk ostentação, emphasizing deeper sub‑bass, sparse percussion, and atmospheric pads while retaining the genre’s themes of luxury, status, and upward mobility. Compared with the brighter, EDM‑leaning hits of ostentação in the early 2010s, the “deep” approach strips arrangements down to hypnotic tamborzão grooves, 808 low‑end, and minimal, minor‑key synth motifs. Vocals often sit closer to the beat, with autotune and chant‑like hooks, but the lyrical focus remains on conspicuous consumption (cars, brands, nightlife) filtered through a more introspective, nocturnal aesthetic.

Soul blues is a hybrid of electric blues and Southern soul that foregrounds gospel-inflected vocals, horn-driven arrangements, and blues-based song forms. It typically features gritty, emotive singing over mid-tempo grooves, with Hammond organ, punchy horn stabs, and guitar fills weaving around I–IV–V progressions broadened by rich 7ths, 9ths, and 13ths. Lyrically, it focuses on love, heartbreak, resilience, and real-life struggles, delivered with the testifying fervor of the church and the storytelling directness of the blues.
