Rawphoric is a modern fusion within hardstyle that combines the tough, distorted kick design and aggressive drive of rawstyle with the soaring, emotional melodies and big-room euphoria of euphoric hardstyle. Producers emphasize crunchy, pitch-modulated hardstyle kicks, energetic screeches, and climactic, trance-influenced themes, aiming to deliver both impact and uplift. The result is music that feels simultaneously forceful and anthemic—tailor-made for large festival stages while still retaining the grit and intensity prized by rawstyle fans.

Bass trap is a high-energy electronic dance music style that merges trap’s halftime hip-hop drum language with festival-scale sound design. It is defined by hard-hitting 808-style sub-bass, punchy snare/clap patterns, rapid hi-hat figures, and aggressive synth or bass “growls” borrowed from modern bass music. Tracks are typically built for big drops and crowd impact, using tension-heavy builds, sudden silences, and explosive low-end releases.

Deep filthstep is a heavy, sub‑focused branch of dubstep that keeps the snarling mid‑range "filth" of brostep while restoring the genre’s original sense of weight, space, and darkness. It emphasizes powerful mono subs, half‑time rhythms at ~140 BPM, and sculpted growl/wobble basses that punch through a minimalist, often cinematic mix. Compared with maximalist festival brostep, deep filthstep tends to be moodier and more restrained in arrangement, letting the sub and a few carefully modulated bass layers carry the drop. Sound design is still intricate (wavetable/FMs, formant and vowel filtering, resampling), but deployed with attention to negative space and bass weight.

Jungle terror is a high-impact festival style of electronic dance music that fuses the punch of big-room and electro house with hyper-percussive, "tribal" drum programming. Rather than relying on massive supersaw leads, it centers on toms, congas, wooden blocks, clacks, and animalistic shouts that drive the drop. Typically around 128–135 BPM, its arrangements emphasize tension-and-release: long risers, vocal calls, and cinematic breaks snap into sparse, tom-led drops with heavy sub-kicks and syncopated patterns. The overall aesthetic is wild, raw, and rhythmic—designed for large dancefloors and open-air festival stages.

Powerstomp is a high-energy offshoot of UK Hardcore that emphasizes a heavy, stomping 4/4 kick, euphoric melodies, and festival-sized drops. It typically runs around 165–175 BPM, replacing the rolling breakbeats of older happy hardcore with hardstyle/gabber-weighted kicks, reverse-bass grooves, and bouncy offbeat basslines. Bright supersaw leads, hands-in-the-air breakdowns, chopped vocals, and simple, chantable riffs make it highly dancefloor-focused and immediately impactful.

Happy hardcore is a fast, euphoric branch of the early UK rave continuum characterized by brisk tempos, 4/4 kicks, bright piano stabs, supersaw leads, and pitched-up “chipmunk” vocals. It emphasizes major-key harmony, catchy melodies, and ecstatic breakdowns, aiming for maximum uplift on the dancefloor. Compared to darker hardcore and gabber, happy hardcore favors feel-good hooks, singalong choruses, and sentimental atmospheres while retaining the relentless energy and drive of hardcore techno.
