Cubatón
Cubatón is the Cuban take on reggaeton, fusing the dembow pulse with Cuba’s deep dance-music traditions such as timba, son cubano, and songo. It keeps reggaeton’s club-ready tempo and MC-driven hooks, but adds montuno-style piano vamps, clave-aligned phrasing, horn riffs, and coro–pregón call-and-response rooted in Cuban popular music. Lyrically it is streetwise and party-focused, packed with Cuban slang, humor, and double entendre, and designed for high-energy social dancing.

Mambo Urbano
Mambo urbano is a high-energy, street-oriented evolution of Dominican merengue that blends traditional güira and tambora grooves with hip hop/REGGAETON flows, dembow rhythms, and modern electronic production. Built for clubs and block parties, it favors fast tempos, catchy call‑and‑response hooks, punchy synth-brass "mambo" lines, and talk‑sung vocals that fuse rap cadences with merengue phrasing. Compared with classic merengue, it is rougher, louder, and more minimal harmonically, prioritizing propulsion and swagger over lush orchestration. The style emerged in the Dominican Republic’s urban scenes in the mid-to-late 2000s, often called "mambo de calle" or "merengue urbano," and quickly became a soundtrack for contemporary Dominican youth culture at home and in the diaspora.

Latin Dance
Latin dance is a club- and radio-oriented pop/dance style that fuses contemporary electronic dance production with Latin and Caribbean rhythms. It typically blends four-on-the-floor house or Eurodance beats with syncopated percussion (congas, bongos, güira, timbales), horn stabs, montuno-style piano riffs, and call-and-response hooks. Vocals often switch between Spanish and English (Spanglish), and choruses are engineered for chant-along energy. Tempos commonly range from about 100–130 BPM, embracing grooves derived from salsa, merengue, cumbia, and later reggaeton, while keeping the bright synths, sidechain compression, and big drops of mainstream dance-pop. The result is music designed for social dancing, clubs, festivals, fitness classes, and cross‑over hit singles.
